What this version is
A traditional string mop. The head is a dense bundle of white twisted yarn, gathered into a blue PP cone that has a threaded socket in its neck.
The socket screws onto the end of the handle, so the head can be changed by hand. It is shown with a white handle and with a blue one, each with a hanging hole at the top.

Threaded socket, no tools
The yarn is fixed inside a rigid plastic cone, and the neck of the cone carries an internal thread. Screw the handle in to fit the head; unscrew it to take a worn head off.

Twisted yarn strands
The strands are twisted yarn, packed into a full round bundle that soaks up water for wet mopping. Wring it by hand or in a mop bucket with a wringer.

A string head wears out long before the handle does. Because the head screws on, the same head can be packed and sold on its own as a refill alongside the complete mop.
