Built for the second order, not the first

Anyone can quote a sample. What matters is whether the tenth container matches the first. Incoming material through to sealed carton happens under one roof. Once a model is approved we keep the cutting die, so your second order costs less to start and looks like the first.

What the plant can actually do

Per month, at a single shift

The six production steps are below. This is the part buyers ask about second: how much of it, how fast, and what happens when we are already busy.

Pad cutting Pad cutting 1.2 m pcs Die and ultrasonic, across six cutting stations. The bottleneck is die changeover, not cutting speed.
Stitching Stitching 900 k pcs Overlock and hook & loop application. This is the step that limits a large pad programme.
Assembly Assembly 150 k sets Poles, frames, buckets and wringers into finished retail sets.
Inspection Inspection Per lot Sampled to AQL against limits agreed before production starts.
Packing Packing 24,000 / 40HQ Your artwork and carton mark, palletised to your loading plan.
Warehousing Warehousing 90 km to port Shanghai is 90 km from the plant; Ningbo on request.

The floor, six steps

Raw roll to sealed carton

Nothing leaves the building between the roll and the carton, which is why changing a pad size or a backing mid-order takes days rather than a new supplier hunt.

Incoming materials
Replace with your own photograph

01 · Incoming materials

Rolls checked by weight and lot before they reach the floor. The label on the end of each roll is what an inspection report is traced back to.

Cutting
Replace with your own photograph

02 · Cutting

Die and ultrasonic cutting. The die in the machine is yours once a size is approved, which is why a reorder carries no new setup charge.

Stitching

03 · Stitching

Overlocked edges and hook & loop application. This is the step that limits how fast a large pad programme can run.

Assembly

04 · Assembly

Poles, frames, buckets and wringers into finished retail sets. Boxing happens on the same line, so a pack change does not mean a second handling.

Inspection

05 · Inspection

Sampled per lot to AQL against limits agreed with you before the line starts. Peel strength, absorbency, shrinkage, colour fastness, appearance.

06 · Packing and loading

Your carton mark, your inner count, your pallet plan. Shanghai is 90 km away, about two hours by truck.

Where a fault gets caught

And what it costs if it does not

Quality is not one inspection at the end. It is five points where a specific thing is checked, chosen because those are the five things that generate claims.

Checkpoints and the failure each one catches
StageWhat is checkedFailure it catchesIf it reaches you instead
Incoming Roll weight and lot Under-weight material substituted upstream A pad that fails the wash count on the pack
After cutting First-article against the die Wrong size, worn die, drifting tolerance Pads that will not seat on the frame
After stitching Peel strength on the backing Weak hook & loop bond The complaint that generates returns
Assembly Function test on moving parts Wringers, triggers, swivels A retail return, and the review that follows it
Before packing AQL sample against agreed limits Appearance, colour drift, print registration A rejected pallet at your warehouse
The part most factories leave out

We agree the limits before the line starts, not after you reject something

An inspection standard written after a dispute is not a standard, it is a negotiation. Send us your AQL levels and your defect classification at the quotation stage and we will quote against those. If you do not have one, we will send ours and you can argue with it while it is still cheap to argue.

Reports Issued on request, per lot, with the carton lot number so a claim can be traced.

Coming to see it

Buyers, inspectors and auditors

A factory that is easy to visit is telling you something, and so is one that is not. Tell us the week and we will schedule production so there is something to see rather than an empty floor and a slideshow.

What we can arrange

  • A walk of the line while your programme is running
  • Third-party inspection at any point in the run — SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas or your own
  • A social or technical audit, with the previous BSCI report available beforehand
  • A video walkthrough if travel is not worth it for the order size

Getting here

Suzhou is 30 minutes from Shanghai Hongqiao by high-speed rail and about 90 minutes from Pudong airport by car. We meet visitors at the station.
