A PVA sponge mop with a blue hood and frame on a steel pole. The grey sponge sits on a frame hinged in the middle, and a ring on the pole is linked to it by two steel rods.
Lift the ring and the head is drawn up into the hood, where the two halves fold together and the sponge is squeezed. The pole has a foam grip and a hanging cap, and the sponge slides out for replacement. Sets ship with one sponge head, or with two.

Lift the ring to wring
Hold the pole and slide the ring up. The rods pull the hinged frame into the hood, the two halves of the sponge fold towards each other, and the water is pressed out of the bottom. Let the ring go and the head drops back flat.
Hands stay dry — the hood does the squeezing.
90–100% water removal — as rated by the factory; treat it as a best case.

Parts that matter
The pole ends in a blue cap with a hanging hole and has a grey foam grip partway down. The pull ring sits just above the hood, and the sponge slides sideways out of the frame when it needs changing.

Ridged PVA sponge
The grey PVA sponge has a ridged face that holds water for wet mopping on tiles, stone and other hard floors. The straight, flat head runs close along skirting boards and the base of cabinets.

One or two heads
Each set ships with one sponge head fitted, or with a spare as a two-head set. Because the sponge slides out of the frame as one piece, spare heads can also be packed and sold on their own as a refill line.

A sponge mop packs long and slim, so the carton is set by pole length rather than weight. Ask for the carton size before you work out freight per unit.
Sea freight is the sensible route for a full order of sets; spare sponge heads travel well in their own carton if you plan to sell them as refills.
