What this version is
A replacement head for folding-wringing sponge mops whose base takes a narrow-slot head. The 28 × 5.5 cm high-density PVA sponge carries two clip plates with eight lugs that push into the base.
It comes in six colours at 28 cm, with a 33 cm head in grey. It is sold as a head alone, without the pole or base.

Hard when dry, soft when wet
PVA sponge is full of fine pores. Dry, the head is stiff; soaked in water it softens within moments and folds in half so the mop can squeeze it out.
Soak first — do not pull the wringing ring while the head is dry.
Folds to wring — the head closes on itself as the mop wrings it.

Ribbed face in PVA sponge
Evenly spaced ribs run the length of the head. They hold water against the floor and gather dust and hair into the grooves, which rinse out under a tap.
Ribs — pick up dust and hair.
PVA — absorbs water and lifts stains.

Both faces in use
The head is ribbed on both sides of the fold, so it can be flipped on the base when one face wears. Using both sides spreads the wear and extends the life of each head.

Six colours, two lengths
The 28 cm head is made in yellow, purple, grey, green, blue and pink, which lets a retailer match the head to the mop or let buyers keep one colour per room. A 33 cm head is made in grey.

From the production floor
The factory's own photos show the ribbed PVA stock in bulk, before the clip plates go on. Colour is set in the sponge itself, not printed on the surface.

Care between jobs
Rinse the head with water or a mild detergent and brush it gently after use. Store it out of direct sunlight; it air-dries hard, and softens again once soaked.
