A flat mop with an X-shaped head that wrings its own pad. Push the handle down and the four arms fold up around the microfiber pad; twist the pole and the pad is squeezed inside the folded head, so the water runs out without the cloth being touched.
The head comes 37 cm or 40 cm wide on a 140 cm sectional pole, swivels through 360°, and a small scraper slides out of the top of the handle to comb hair off the pad. Colours are grey-white, light blue, beige and coffee, or green.
Three movements wring the pad. Push the handle down, and the arms of the X head fold up and close around the cloth; twist the pole, and the pad is squeezed inside the head with the water running out of the bottom.
The joint between pole and head turns the full circle, so the X head can be steered around table legs and along skirting without lifting it, and turned edge-on to follow a wall.
The head lies flat and low, and with the pole tilted back it slides under cabinets, beds and sofas that stand 7 cm or more off the floor.
A short comb-edged scraper pulls out of the top of the handle. Run it across the pad to lift hair and grit off the microfiber before rinsing, then slide it back in so it is not lost.
The X-shaped pad has a microfiber face over a sponge layer, with a hook-and-loop backing that holds it to the underside of the head. Overall height is 140 cm and the head is 15 cm deep.

The X-shaped pad only fits this head, so spare pads are the repeat order. Decide early whether the set ships with two pads, six pads or a separate refill pack.

The pole ships in sections and the X head lies flat, so the set packs into a slimmer carton than a bucket mop. Carton size still decides freight per unit more than the factory price does.
Sea freight is the sensible route for a full order of sets; air freight on a boxed mop rarely makes commercial sense.
